Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *skatja. Cognate to Latin scateō (“to stream, to flow out”), Lithuanian skantù, skàsti (“to spring, to jump”), and perhaps to Ancient Greek σκάξω (skáxō, “to be lame”).[1]
