- A ruby-throated hummingbird (Archilochus colubris).
- A Siberian rubythroat (Calliope calliope) or white-tailed rubythroat (Calliope pectoralis),of genus Calliope (syn. Luscinia).
- A ruby-throated bulbul (Rubigula dispar, syn. Pycnonotus dispar).
