- (surgery) The restoration of a blood supply to an organ or limb, as:
- Vascular surgery or vascular interventional radiology, such as coronary artery bypass graft or percutaneous coronary intervention (coronary angioplasty).
- Neovascularization forming a collateral circulation (eg, neoangiogenesis, angiogenesis, vasculogenesis).
