Etymology
Affixed pari- + purna, from Javanese ꦥꦫꦶꦥꦸꦂꦤ (paripurna, “finished, over; complete, plenary”), from Old Javanese paripūrṇa (“full, perfect, complete”), from Sanskrit परिपूर्ण (paripūrṇa). Compare to Thai บริบูรณ์ (bɔɔ-rí-buun), Khmer បរិបូរ (bɑɑrebou), Chinese 圓滿/圆满 (yuánmǎn), and Japanese 円満.
