kakker m (plural kakkers, diminutive kakkertje n)

1. (literally, vulgar) One who shits or defecates.
2. (by extension, usually derogatory) A stereotypical designation of a Dutch person who is elitist, posh, preppy, and conceited. Commonly associated attributes include polo shirts, field hockey, and the accent (bekakt praten).

   Die debiele kakker snuift de hele dag op kosten van zijn vader. ― That idiotic preppy asshole snorts [drugs] all day at his father's expense.

• The sense "preppy person" is sometimes used positively, as a geuzennaam (reappropriated derogatory nickname), by members of this subculture.
