From kaffe (coffee) + kask.

kaffekask c

  1. A coffee drink laced with alcohol. Traditionally made by placing a coin on the bottom of a cup and then filling the cup with coffee until the coin is no longer visible. A flavored schnapps is then added until the coin becomes visible again. This process is repeated until the cup is full.
