Usage notes

  • Hyposexuality is sometimes confused or conflated with asexuality. Hyposexuality is a disorder characterised by lower than normal levels of libido, whereas asexuality is a sexual orientation characterised by a long-term lack of sexual attraction or desire, and is independent of libido.[1]
