Etymology

Found in words such as fuþflogi ("cunt-fleer", a man who avoided women and marriage) and in attested nicknames such as fuþkula (cunt-ball), fuþsleikir (cunt-licker) and silkifuþ (silky-cunt). It is also found by itself, for example in the runic inscription NB011: "felleg er fuþ sin bylli fuþorglbasm" (Wonderful is the cunt, may the cock fill it up!).
