emelet
Hungarian
Pronunciation
- IPA(key): [ˈɛmɛlɛt]
- Hyphenation: eme‧let
- Rhymes: -ɛt
Usage notes
The usage is like the British convention as opposed to the American. That is, első emelet (“first floor”) is not the ground floor but the first one above ground. The American-usage first floor (UK: ground floor) is földszint.
