  1. (offensive) to die

    The old man died.
    Ég er að drepast úr greddu.
    I'm horny as fuck.
  2. to kick the bucket (referring to a machine)
    Gemsinn minn drapst. Ég verð að fá mér nýjan.
    My mobile kicked the bucket. I have to get a new one.
