Etymology 1

From Ottoman Turkish دولنمك (to rest), Old Anatolian Turkish دولنمك (dölenmek),[1][2] ultimately Proto-Turkic *döle-. Cognate with Turkish dölek. Çağbayır[2] considers senses third to sixth to be derived from the preceding.
