- (with på) to put in a great deal of force (often of a projectile being fired or (accelerating and) driving fast); to fire away, to go flat out, to pull out all the stops
- De brassade på med automateld mot fienden

- He backed up and fired a hard shot towards the goal
- De brassade på för fullt för att hinna
