APA (“amateur press association”) +‎ zine

apazine (plural apazines)

1. (fandom slang) A periodical created by a member of an amateur press association for distribution to all of its members.
   • 1959, Richard "Dick" Harris Eney, Fancyclopedia II‎, APA:

     Such apazines are contributed to the bundle by their publishers without charge, being considered exchanges for the other members' fanzines.
