Etymology

Literally, Pinoy Genius. From a segment of the same name since 2004, in the noontime show Eat Bulaga!, the longest running variety show in the Philippines. The segment was later succeeded by Gimme 5: Laro ng Mga Henyo (literally, Gimme 5: Game of the Geniuses) and Word of the Rings by 2023 after the Eat Bulaga trademark dispute.
