Leuvenum
Dutch
Etymology
First attested as lovenen towards the end of the 13th century. Etymology unknown. A derivation from a compound of Old Dutch Luvo (“a personal name”) and heem (“home, settlement”) is not supported by the oldest attestations. Compare Leuvenheim.
