Changan

An irregular form of the pinyin romanization of the Mandarin pronunciation of Chinese 長安／长安 (Cháng'ān), lacking the apostrophe required to show the correct characters involved. See 隔音符號／隔音符号 (géyīn fúhào) for more.

1. (historical, sometimes proscribed) Alternative form of Chang'an, former name of Xi'an, a former capital of China.
