-iliono
Esperanto
Suffix
-iliono
- Used with a cardinal number to indicate numbers greater than a million. Specifically, it indicates the number 106x (where x is the cardinal number), and it corresponds with long scale usage in English.
- duiliono - trillion (1012)
- triiliono - quintillion (1018)
Usage notes
- Only works with cardinal numbers two (du) and greater. For 106, see miliono.
- This suffix usage is proposed by the most recent version of the PIV, but is not considered official.
For intermediate powers of 103, mil may be used: mil duilionoj (1015), mil triilionoj (1021). But see also -iliardo.
