𒉿𒊏𒀀𒉌
Hittite
Etymology
From Proto-Indo-European *wer-.
Usage notes
This verb shows a rare dissimilation from 3.sg present and imperative *warāri and *warāru to warāni and warānu. Its stem also alternates between war- and ur-, however, this is not believed to descend from IE ablaut.
