From 𐕆𐔴𐔾 (hel, spirit, noun) + 𐔽𐔰𐕀𐔴 (ˁaxe, emit, verb) + -𐕒𐕡𐕎 (-un, infinitive). The formation is comparable to Old Armenian յոգւոց հանել (yogwocʻ hanel, to sigh, literally to emit from spirits); see հոգոց (hogocʻ).
