     瑠璃子(るりこ)は、昂然(こうぜん)と現代(げんだい)の烈女(れつじょ)と云(い)つてもいゝやうに、美(うつく)しく勇(いさ)ましかつた。

     Ruriko wa, kōzen to gendai no retsujo to itte mo ii yō ni, utsukushiku isamashikatta.
