Diacritical mark
◌͔
- (Uralic Phonetic Alphabet) backed (retracted) articulation; equivalent to IPA ⟨◌̠⟩.
Usage notes
This diacritic may either appear below a letter or as a subscript immediately after it. A descender on the letter will generally force the diacritic to the right, but some authors place the diacritic to the right of consonants but under vowels, or follow other patterns.
