- to have periods, or be subject to periodicity, as a tree which becomes bare when it changes its leaves. A period when any particular fruit comes into season. Said also of birds which appear to migrate, and are only seen at certain seasons, as snipe, or plover.
- (Bali) To measure time by a kind of clepsydra.
