From Proto-Tungusic *-dū,[1] compare Jurchen [Term?], cognate with Even [script needed] (-dū), Evenki [script needed] (-dū), Solon [script needed] (-du), Negidal [script needed] (-dū), Udihe [script needed] (-du), Oroch [script needed] (-du), Nanai [script needed] (-du), Ulch [script needed] (-du), Orok [script needed] (-du).
Compare also Proto-Turkic *-da (“locative suffix”) and Proto-Mongolic *-da (“locative and dative suffix”). Whence also Turkish -de, Mongolian -д (-d). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
