Etymology
From Old Georgian ექვთიმე (ekvtime), from Ancient Greek Εὔθυμος (Eúthumos), from εὔθυμος (eúthumos, “cheerful”). For the ვ → ქვ (v → kv) development compare ქვიშნა (kvišna).
