From ܦܪܵܣܵܐ (prāsā, extension) + ܢܵܘܠܵܐ (nāwlā, web). Coined by Bailis Yamlikha Shamun and first published in a 2020 dictionary, as a substitute for the more common Anglicism ܐܸܢܛܲܪܢܹܛ (inṭarnēṭ).
