- מַרְחִיקִין אֶת הָאִילָן מִן הָעִיר עֶשְׂרִים וְחָמֵשׁ אַמָּה, הֶחָרוּב וְהַשִׁקְמָה חֲמִשִּׁים אַמָּה. אַבָּא שָׁאוּל אוֹמֵר, כָּל אִילַן סְרָק, חֲמִשִּׁים אַמָּה.
- [We] distance trees from the city twenty-five cubits, the carob and the sycamore fifty cubits; Abba Shaul says, “Any non-fruit-bearing tree fifty cubits.”
