Etymology
From տղա (tġa) + աման (aman), literally "boy receptacle". Typologically compare Middle Persian [Book Pahlavi needed] (pwsdʾn' /pusyān/), Persian زهدان (zehdân, “uterus”), Northern Kurdish p’izdan (“placenta”).[1]
