Cognate with Old Turkic [script needed] (üzeŋü, “stirrup”); Kazakh үзеңгі (üzeñgı), Kyrgyz үзөңгү (üzöŋgü), Uyghur ئۈزەڭگە (üzengge), Uzbek uzangi, Turkmen üzeňňi, Azerbaijani üzəngi, Turkish üzengi (“stirrup”); Yakut иҥэһэ (iñehe) (with metathesis), Chuvash йӑрана (jărana, “stirrup”), etc.
