Cognate with Kazakh жалаңаяқ (jalañaäq), Kyrgyz жыңалаяк (jıŋalayak), Crimean Tatar yalınayaq, Kumyk яланаякъ (yalanayaq), Karachay-Balkar джаланаякъ (calanayaq), Azerbaijani yalınayaq, Turkish yalınayak.
