Etymology
Inherited from Proto-Turkic *sekiŕ *ōn (“eighty”), equivalent to саккӑр (sakkăr, “eight”) + вуннӑ (vunnă, “ten”).[1]
Cognate with Turkish seksen, Uzbek sakson and Bashkir һикһән (hikhən).
