Usage notes

In the standard language, only the imperative поми́луй (pomíluj) is utilized, predominantly in prayers to God:

Поми́луй нам, Бо́же! ― Pomíluj nam, Bóže! ― Show us mercy, God!
Го́споди, поми́луй! ― Góspodi, pomíluj! ― Oh, Lord, be merciful!
