Usage notes

  • Prepositions are always interposed, dividing the word in two:
    Я ни у кого́ не́ был.Ja ni u kovó né byl.I haven’t visited anybody.
    Он ни с кем не говори́т.On ni s kem ne govorít.He’s not speaking to anybody.
