Blend of Кремль (Kremlʹ, “Kremlin”) + блядь (bljadʹ, “whore (vulgar)”). First used by a rock group Телеви́зор (Televízor) (i. e. "TV set") in a song called «Заколоти́те подва́л» (“Zakolotíte podvál”) (Board up the basement).
