Perfect passive participle of μεθάω / μεθώ (metháo / methó, I get drunk), a verb without passive forms.
The perfective stem μεθυσ- (methys-) as in simple past μέθυσα (méthysa). From the active Ancient Greek μεθύω (methúō), μεθῶ (methô) where the μεθυσ- stem is supplied from verb μεθύσκω (methúskō).
