Hangzhou City University (HZCU) is a public university in Hangzhou, China, which was established by the Hangzhou City Government. Its predecessor was Zhejiang University City College, jointly founded by Zhejiang University and the Hangzhou City government in 1999. In June 2020, the Hangzhou City Government signed a cooperation agreement with Zhejiang University, providing exceptional support for Hangzhou City University's ten-year leap to become one of the leading institutions in China.
