Viljevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Виљево, Hungarian: Villyó) is a municipality in Osijek-Baranja County, Croatia. There are 2,065 inhabitants, 81% of whom are Croats (2011 census).[3]
Politics
Minority councils
Directly elected minority councils and representatives are tasked with consulting the local or regional authorities to advocate for minority rights and interests, integration into public life and participation in the management of local affairs.[4] At the 2023 Croatian national minorities councils and representatives elections, Roma and Serbs of Croatia each fulfilled the legal requirements to elect 10 members municipal minority councils of the Viljevo Municipality.[5]
