Road Safety World Series is a Twenty20 cricket league which features retired international cricketers from various nations. The competition was founded by Ravi Gaikwad, the chief road traffic officer of Thane in India, in collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India.[1] Sunil Gavaskar, former India captain, is the commissioner of the series, while Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador.[2] The competition is supported by the Indian Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.[3]
The series has featured sides from India, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh national cricket team.[4][5][6] [7]
