Petrovske (Ukrainian: Петровске, Russian: Петровское) or Petrovo-Krasnosillia (Ukrainian: Петрово-Красносілля) is a city in Krasnyi Luch Municipality, Luhansk Oblast (region) of Ukraine. Population: 12,642 (2022 estimate)[1], 13,260 (2013 est.).[2]
Since 2014, Petrovske has been controlled by the Luhansk People's Republic and not by Ukrainian authorities.[3] In 2016, as part of decommunization in Ukraine, Petrovske was renamed to Petrovo-Krasnosillia by the Ukrainian government.[4]
