On 21 October 2023, a Russian S-300 missile strike struck a post office in Novyi Korotych, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 8 people were killed and 15 further were injured, all of them post office employees.[1][2][3][4][5][6] The airstike was launched from the Belgorod Oblast, Russia.[7]
