Katra (Persian: كترا, also Romanized as Katra and Katrā)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Katra Rural District of Nashta District, Tonekabon County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,914 in 543 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,887 people in 607 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,832 people in 626 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
