Evernew Pictures is a Pakistani film production and distribution company. Founded in 1939 by Agha G. A. Gul, the company is one of the largest production company of films in the country. The company established its studio in 1956.[1][2]

History

Mundari (1949) was the first film produced by Agha G. A. Gul under the banner of Evernew Pictures. The company built its studio in 1956 by the revenue generated by the earning of Evernew's production Dulla Bhatti (1956).[1][2] In 1965, one of the earliest color film of the country Naila was produced by the banner.[1] After the death of Gul, the company is currently owned by his son S. A. Gul.[3]

Studio

Following the success of his film Dulla Bhatti in 1956, Agha G. A. Gul established the studio of the production company, Evernew Studio in the same year.[5] It is among the only a few studios which are functional nowadays.[6]
