Dayton Public Schools is the school district in the U.S. state of Ohio that serves Dayton, Ohio. The district covers 49 square miles.[10] Dayton Public Schools (DPS) is the 12th largest PreK-12 district in the state, with a 2017–2018 enrollment of about 12571.[11] DPS has 28 schools, 18 PreK-8 schools, 2 middle schools, 6 high schools, and 2 special centers.[12]

DPS operates the FM jazz radio station WDPS.
