Courniou (French pronunciation: [kuʁnju]; Occitan: Cornhon) is a commune in the Hérault department in southern France.

Climate
Courniou has a warm-summer mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csb). The average annual temperature in Courniou is 11.9 °C (53.4 °F).
