Conor Noß (born 1 January 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Austrian Bundesliga club Blau-Weiß Linz, having previously played for Borussia Mönchengladbach, the club where he started his professional career. Born in Germany, he is a former youth international for the Republic of Ireland.
Club career
Borussia Mönchengladbach
Noß began playing football with SF Vorst in 2008, and moved to the youth academy of Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2009.[2] On 7 July 2021, he signed his first professional contract with the club for three years.[3] On 20 November 2021, Noß debuted for Gladbach during a 4–0 Bundesliga win over Greuther Fürth.[4]
Blau-Weiß Linz
On 18 July 2023, Noß signed a two-year contract with Blau-Weiß Linz who had just been newly promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga.[5][6] He made his debut on 29 July 2023, replacing Stefan Haudum at half time in a 2–1 loss away to Wolfsberger AC.[7] On 2 September 2023 he scored his first goal for the club, scoring in a 4–2 win away to WSG Tirol at Tivoli Stadion Tirol.[8]
International career
Noß was born in Germany to a German father and Irish mother. He is a former youth international for the Republic of Ireland U19s and U21s.[9]
