The 60th Separate Mechanized Ingulets Brigade (Ukrainian: 60-та окрема механізована Інгулецька бригада) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed on November 10, 2015.[2]
History
The brigade was formed on November 10, 2015, during the war in Donbas, where it fought against the Donetsk People's Militia and Luhansk People's Militia. During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the brigade fought in the battle of Bakhmut to the point of exhaustion and were noted by the Washington Post as having low morale.[3] The brigade is currently taking part in the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive.[4][5]
