Hi - I'm Brandon, and I currently study computer science at Texas A&M University (and am taking summer courses at Austin Community College). I'm hoping to work a job in the software engineering/AI engineering field when I graduate. My main skills are in web development and machine learning, and I've made a few websites along the way to showcase what I've learned, such as a Canvas based productivity app.
I've fixed lots of random things in my life, mainly dealing with software or software-based devices, as my family sometimes needs my help. I know my way around the Windows software fairly well, since I spent a lot of time as a kid messing around on my computer, tweaking things so I could play video games and have my computer run faster.
In school, I'm in a few computer science organizations, like the Aggie Coding Club and the Computing Society, and I was awarded with hosting an outstanding "learning-focused" project, once. In my free time, I play videogames, basketball, a few instruments, and I like listening to music and talking to people.
I believe this iFixit project will be a great way to showcase my understanding in something technical while also improving my professional writing skills.
