I am a Mechanical Engineer Undergraduate student at UMASS Dartmouth. I served five years in the US Marines working on helicopters as an airframe and hydraulics technician.
All of my experience stemmed from my interests of finding how systems operate. Working hands on provided me with understanding how to troubleshoot faults by determining the qualities of the faults given. I started with collision repair in high school, helicopters in the military, and wind turbine services just before studies at UMASS Dartmouth.
In my spare time, I tend to find things that might need a quick tune up from jammed kitchen garbage disposals to my motorcycles needing rewiring. I also enjoy my current extracurriculars at UMASS in the outdoor club or getting out to go fishing whenever I can. My goal is to obtain a master's degree after my bachelor's in mechanical engineering to help improve and streamline maintenance actions through efficient designs and functional equipment.
