Hi! My name is Camille Gildersleeve. I am a current junior at the University of Arizona pursuing a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a minor in Educational Psychology. I chose these programs because I believe both will prepare me well for my intended career as a pediatrician. I have worked with children in the past, and a find a special feeling of accomplishment from making children smile. I hope to bring this to my work as a pediatrician, helping sick children to feel better, but also hopefully making visiting the doctor a less daunting experience for children. I have worked as a medical scribe which gave me a strong foundation in medical charting and technical writing abilities. I am currently a student in the W.A. Franke Honors College and a recipient of the Dean's List recognition. I am also a member of the Zeta Beta chapter of the Chi Omega Fraternity and a member of the Women in Medicine and Science Club. I enjoy reading, watching movies, music, and hiking in my free time. Below I have photos of myself at the Taylor Swift concert as well as at Yellowstone National Park, two of my favorite memories.

I have some basic repair and building experience consisting of building furniture and helping my dad with small repairs around the house, but no major repair experience as of yet. Therefore, this project will help me to develop by repair skills as this is something I feel I am not advanced in. By improving my repair skills, I will be able to repair more of my own items going forward into my adult life.
