Shaelyn

Hi! My name is Shaelyn and I'm an undergraduate in my junior year at University of California, Davis.

Here at UC Davis, I’m double majoring in studio art and design, with a focus on ceramic sculpture and set design. Past in-class experience, I occasionally volunteer at the local Craft Center and have helped build sets for Pali Production’s school musicals and plays. Currently, I’m looking to further my knowledge of ceramics and set design as either a studio assistant or production assistant.

I have plentiful experience in programming and loading kilns, knowing some quick repairs for simple kiln furniture issues like glaze drips. I also have adequate knowledge about woodworking from studio classes and set construction, from which I have some basic understanding of furniture repairs. Here on iFixit, I hope to share this knowledge and help with the rest of the community in my guides!
