Hi Everyone,

I am Greg, a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. This is where I attend classes for my major in Mechanical Engineering. Hopefully, when I graduate I will be able to get into the robotics or renewable energy fields as they are the two reasons I decided to become an engineer in the first place.

Over the past 5 years, I have worked towards my career in engineering going to a 4 year trade high school and coming out with a trade degree in "Robotics and Engineering". I am also now in my Sophomore year of college for a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Over this time I have learned a lot about the math that goes into my field of choice and how to apply it. I have also learned a lot about manufacturing and what goes into the making of a product.

Skills:

  • Robotics
  • Programming
  • Mathematics
  • Working with my hands
  • Repairing products
  • 3D modeling and Printing

Projects:

  • Robots for Skills USA Urban Search and Rescue competition
  • In-class (High school) robots for fun competitions using Vex Robotics
  • Product creations
  • Fixing products
  • Creating an RC boat as a high school senior project

Accomplishments:

  • Competed in Business Professionals of America
  • Competed in Skills USA four year
    • Second in both regionals and states for Urban Search and Rescue

Hobbies:

  • Woodworking
  • Playing Tabletop roleplaying games
  • Drawing
  • Building small robots

I have had a good amount of experience and practice in fixing products and taking them apart to see what's wrong with them. It's honestly kinda of a hobby of mine as it can be calming to do. I hope that I can help with working to make more tutorials to fix hard-to-fix products.
